Bob Machovec

I have had a variety of interesting occupations many of which had artistic qualities to them; i.e. building movie sets and displays; restoring boats; and for the past 20 years I have been custom building metal furniture, lighting and sculptures. I have pieces that are commissioned as well as pieces built simply because I could see a large animal hiding in a piece of found metal. My shop is near my home in Glen Rock, PA.

My personal passion has become creating sculptures from found metal objects. My source of inspiration since moving to Pennsylvania has come from the beautiful countryside and my material has come from disregarded farm tools and equipment on that countryside. It has been very gratifying to find that other people enjoy my creations, and it seems people of all ages can appreciate my vision.
