December is when many of us often think of family and home, so Artique Underground asked five architectural designers to describe what home means to them, on paper and canvas. The results are remarkable.
Steve Stannard, Stewart White, William Hook, Fred Craig, and David Csont have thousands of individual images in publications and collections, with as many awards and honors. William Hook, a veteran architect is published in over 7 books, including the illustrator’s classic, Architecture In Watercolor, by Thomas Schaller. David Csont, illustrator, has had the honor of serving as president of the prestigious American Society of Architectural Illustrators (ASAI) and Fred Craig is a founder of Baltimore architectural powerhouse, BCT. Stewart White is principal at the creative firm Design Collective, and was the winner of the 2009 Easton Plein-air competition. Steve Stannard, Landscape Architect and visualist, maintains his studio gallery on Main Street in Ellicott City, Maryland.
