Charlie Barton is a recent graduate from York College. He works in wood, creating sculptures that are essentially flat and made to hang on the wall. A substantial portion of the wood he uses is reclaimed from older material. Most of his work is abstract and a good portion of it is geometric. He paints his abstract pieces black and red for the powerful combination that they produce. He currently resides in Pennsylvania just south of Philadelphia. As he is currently an emerging artist, his works are still modestly priced.
